Gophers in the NFL: Week 10

Week 10 of NFL action kicked off Thursday with all-time leading Gopher receiver Eric Decker and the New York Jets taking on the Buffalo Bills. Decker continued his great season as he hauled in six receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown. Decker had a pair of 31-yard receptions as the Jets fell to the Bills, 22-17.
Rookie tight end Maxx Williams played a big role in the Baltimore Ravens offense against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Williams recorded four catches for 40 yards and caught his first career NFL touchdown. Williams and the Ravens fell to the Jaguars, 22-20.
Minnesota Vikings return specialist Marcus Sherels returned two punts for 14 yards against the Oakland Raiders. The Vikings beat the Raiders, 30-14.
Linebacker Damien Wilson was active for the Dallas Cowboys but did not record any statistics in the Cowboys 10-6 loss to the Tampa Bay Bucaneers.
Former Mackey Award-winning tight end Matt Spaeth was inactive for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers went on to beat the Cleveland Browns, 30-9.
Rookie running back David Cobb was not active this week. He looks to make his NFL debut in the coming weeks.
Ra'Shede Hageman and the Atlanta Falcons were on a bye this week.
Former Gopher quarterback and Bills tight end Marqueis Gray is on injured reserve with a broken forearm.
