Gophers in the NFL: Week 11

Week 11 in the NFL kicked off Thursday with former Gopher running back David Cobb making his NFL debut for the Tennessee Titans. Cobb ran the ball four times for a total loss of three yards. The Titans lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, 19-13.
Baltimore Ravens rookie tight end Maxx Williams made an impact with three catches for 20 yards against the St. Louis Rams. The Ravens beat the Rams in a thriller, 16-13.
Defensive tackle Ra'Shede Hageman played for the Atlanta Falcons against the Indianapolis Colts. Hageman recorded one tackle as the Falcons lost to the Colts, 24-21.
All-time leading Minnesota receiver Eric Decker once again had a phenomenal statistical week for the New York Jets. The veteran hauled in four catches for 81 yards as the Jets fell to the Houston Texans, 24-17.
Damien Wilson was active for the Dallas Cowboys but did not record any statistics in their 24-14 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Former Gopher cornerback Marcus Sherels returned one punt for no gain for the Minnesota Vikings as they fell to the Green Bay Packers, 30-13.
Former Mackey Award winning tight end Matt Spaeth and the Steelers are on a bye.
Former Gopher quarterback and Bills tight end Marqueis Gray is on injured reserve with a broken forearm.
