Day Three at Four Nations Cup

MINNEAPOLIS - Preliminary round action concluded at the 2015 Four Nations Cup Saturday as the United States finished undefeated at 3-0 with a 7-0 shutout win over Finland, and Canada earned a place in Sunday's gold medal game with a 3-1 win over Sweden.

Canada 3, Sweden 1

Sarah Davis picked up an assist on Canada's third goal in the team's 3-1 win over Sweden Saturday morning. Sarah Potomak was also in the lineup for Canada, and the Gopher duo ended preliminary round play with one assist each.

United States 7, Finland 0

Gopher alums Megan Bozek and Anne Schleper helped the U.S. blank Finland, 7-0, in the team's final preliminary round game Saturday. The U.S. is now undefeated in three games and has outscored its opponents 16-2.

Fellow Gopher alums Noora Räty and Mira Jalosuo took the ice for Finland. Räty entered the game at 6:17 of the first period and made 28 saves on 32 shots faced after Finland's starting goaltender Meeri Räisänen allowed three goals on seven shots.

2015 Four Nations Cup Schedule and Results

The Four Nations Cup concludes with the bronze and gold medal games on Sunday. Finland (1-2) and Sweden (0-3) meet in the bronze medal game followed by the gold-medal matchup between the U.S. (3-0) and Canada (2-1).
