Gopher Basketball Celebrates Star Wars

To commemorate the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Dec. 18, Gopher men's basketball is holding its first-ever "Star Wars Night" at Williams Arena on Dec. 16 against Chicago State.

Some of the special Star Wars-themed festivities include:

- Special Star Wars: The Barnyard Awakens capes (first 500) and posters (all) to students in attendance at the game
- Apperances by Star Wars characters like Darth Vader, Yoda and Stormtroopers at the game
- A special Star Wars characters vs. mascots pick-up basketball game at halftime
- Loads of Star Wars videos, sounds and more!
