Quick Lane Bowl Update #1 | Quick Lane Bowl Preview

The Gopher Football team enjoyed an eventful weekend in Detroit preparing for the 2015 Quick Lane Bowl.

The Gophers (5-7) will take on CMU (5-7) Monday at Ford Field in the Quick Lane Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. The game will be carried live on ESPN2 (click here for a full bowl preview).

After a spirited Saturday morning practice, the Gophers headed to Gleaner's Food Bank on the city's east side, packing meals for the needy.

On Saturday evening, both teams attended a panel discussion on team work and transitioning to life after collegiate athletics, dinner and a tour of the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn.

 Sunday, the Gophers were able to enjoy an NFL game between bowl host Detroit Lions and the San Francisco 49ers.
