The Minnesota women's golf team returns to action this weekend, heading to the Sunshine State to compete in the Miami Hurricane Invitational. Action at the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins Monday at the Biltmore Golf Club in Miami.

Live scoring throughout the tournament can be viewed by visiting the link above.

This will be the Gophers' second tournament of the spring season, after opening play in 2015 three weeks ago at the UCF Challenge. There, led by a two-under-par, 11th-place finish from freshman Celia Kuenster, Minnesota finished in a tie for eighth place in the team standings (291-291-298--880, +16).

Two other Gophers finished the tournament at the Eagle Creek Golf Club among the top-50, as senior Carmen Laguna's final-round 70 helped her to a share of 35th place in the tournament standings (76-75-70--221). Sophomore Emie Peronnin was one stroke behind at six-over-par 222 (73-72-77), placing her in a tie for 42nd.

Following the action from Miami, which wraps up Wednesday, the Gophers will take a week off before competing in the BYU Entrada Classic on March 16 and 17.
