MINNEAPOLIS - The University of Minnesota (22-7, 11-6) women's basketball team closes out regular-season action when it travels to No. 17/16 Iowa (22-6, 13-4) Sunday afternoon for a 2 p.m. contest on BTN. Eric Collins and Shelley Till will be on the call for the live broadcast, while fans can also listen to the game live on KBEM Jazz 88.5 FM. Live updates can be found on the Gophers' official Twitter page - @GophersWBB.

Minnesota is currently tied with Rutgers for fifth place in Big Ten standings with an 11-6 league record, while Iowa sit in second place in the standings with a 13-4 conference mark.

The Gophers are looking to sweep the Hawkeyes in the teams' Big Ten season series for the first time since 2002-03 after picking up a 93-80 victory over Iowa at Williams Arena on Feb. 17 behind Amanda Zahui B.'s record-breaking performance. The center scored a career-high 39 points and grabbed a Big Ten and program-record 29 rebounds, which would eventually lead her to being named the espnW National Player of the Week for the second time this season and the Big Ten Player of the Week for the fourth time on the year.

As far as seeding for the Big Ten Tournament, a win against the Hawkeyes could give Minnesota anywhere from as high as the No. 3 seed to as low as the No. 6 seed, depending on outcomes of games between Ohio State and Nebraska, Northwestern and Maryland and Rutgers and Penn State. A loss to Iowa would secure the Maroon and Gold as the No. 6 seed, no matter the outcome of the three additional contests.

Minnesota is looking to secure its 23rd win of the regular season Sunday afternoon, a mark that would tie for the most regular-season wins in program history. The last time a Gopher team had 23 wins in the regular season was in 2002-03, while the last time the Maroon and Gold had 23 overall wins in a season was in 2003-04.

In the all-time series, Iowa holds a 47-24 advantage over Minnesota, which includes a 26-8 record against the Gophers in Iowa City. The Gophers' last road win against the Hawkeyes was an 80-78 overtime victory on Jan. 25, 2007 in which then-sophomore Emily Fox scored 30 points.
