WCHA First Round Tickets On Sale Tuesday

MINNEAPOLIS - Tickets for the Gophers' WCHA First Round series go on sale through MyGopherSports.com at 9 a.m. CT on Tuesday, Feb. 10. Minnesota will host a best-of-three league series at Ridder Arena to begin the 2015 postseason Feb. 27 through March 1.
With four regular-season WCHA games remaining, the Gophers cannot finish lower than second in the conference standings. Minnesota will host either St. Cloud State or Minnesota State in the first round.
The best-of-three series is set for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27 and 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28. Game three, if necessary, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, March 1.
WCHA First Round ticket prices are $10 for reserved chair back seating and $5 for general admission tickets.
Gopher Women's Hockey Youth VIP pass-holders will be able to use their passes for free admission to the WCHA First Round games. All season ticket holders should have received tickets to this series as part of their season ticket package as well. Because it is a best of three game series, tickets to the third game will only become available if necessary following the completion of game two.
The four WCHA First Round winning teams advance to the 2015 WCHA FINAL FACE-OFF at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D., March 7-8. Tickets are currently on sale through Ticketmaster.com.
The NCAA quarterfinal round is set for March 13-15, and the 2015 NCAA Women's Frozen Four returns to Ridder Arena March 20 and 22. Frozen Four tickets are sold out, but fans interested in being put on a wait list if additional tickets become available should contact the Gopher Sales & Service Department at 612-624-8080 (option 2).
Minnesota hosts Minnesota Duluth in its final home series of the regular season this weekend. The Gophers and Bulldogs face off at 7 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday at Ridder Arena.
