Scrimmage Moved To Sea Foam Stadium

The University of Minnesota football team will scrimmage at 10:10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15. The scrimmage, which is free and open to the public, will be contested at Sea Foam Stadium at Concordia University (281 Hamline Ave., St. Paul, MN 55104). 

The scrimmage is being held at Concordia because of the Minnesota Vikings preseason game at 7 p.m. on Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as parking is limited near Sea Foam Stadium. Fans are asked to sit in the stands and not sit or stand on the track that surrounds the playing surface. The concession stands will be closed, but fans are encouraged to bring water to stay properly hydrated as temperatures are expected to hit 90 degrees on Saturday.

Media covering the scrimmage are asked to watch from the sideline that the team is not using. Interviews will take place at Concordia after the scrimmage.

Practice at 10:25 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, at the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex is also open to the public.
