The 2015 WNBA season is the first to feature three Golden Gopher women's basketball alumnae on regular season rosters at the same time. They are league veteran Lindsay Whalen and rookies Amanda Zahui B. and Shae Kelley. Whalen and Kelley's Minnesota Lynx clinched a playoff spot Tuesday night, and Zahui B.'s Tulsa Shock is third in the Western Conference.

On Aug. 11, the Lynx signed Kelley for the remainder of the season. Kelley originally was selected in the third round of this year's WNBA Draft, then appeared in two preseason games before being released. The Lynx recently brought her back for back-to-back one-week contracts before extending the offer to stay the rest of the year.
