MINNEAPOLIS - Action continued in the annual three-game series between the U.S. Under-22 Team and Canada's National Women's Development Team Friday afternoon. Canada came away with a 2-1 win to even this year's series at 1-1 after the U.S. won the first meeting, 4-1.

Gophers found the back of the net on either side as Sydney Baldwin tied the game at 1-1 for the U.S. with less than four minutes remaining before Sarah Potomak tallied the game-winner for Canada with 1:07 to play. Four other Gophers saw action as Hannah Brandt, Dani Cameranesi, Cara Piazza and Lee Stecklein were in the lineup for the U.S. Kelly Pannek (USA) and Amanda Leveille (CAN) did not play.

The three-game series wraps up at 5 p.m. CT Saturday at the Herb Brooks Arena at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y.
