• Murphy has tallied double-doubles in the last three games and in five of the last six Gophers' contests. He is the first Minnesota player with three-straight double-doubles since Kris Humphries in December 2003. Over the past three games, Murphy is averaging 13.0 points and 13.3 rebounds.
• Senior Joey King was named the Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on Nov. 17 after his performances at home in the opening weekend of the season. .
• The University of Minnesota men's basketball team will welcome three new members starting in 2016, as guard Amir Coffey (Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS), forward Eric Curry (Little Rock, Ark./Southwest Christian Academy) and guard/forward Michael Hurt (Rochester, Minn./John Marshall HS) signed their National Letters of Intent on Nov. 11.
