Weekend Parking/Transit Advisory

Due to multiple University of Minnesota and outside events on campus, including the Minnesota Vikings' playoff game Sunday, fans are advised to plan ahead for increased traffic and limited parking. Please see below for the event schedule, parking and light rail information. The women's basketball and women's hockey games on Sunday will remain at 2 p.m. due to opponent travel arrangements.
Saturday
Foxjets Winter Classic Swim Meet - All Day
FIRST Robotics Kick-Off - 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Men's Track - Northwest Open - Noon
Men's Gymnastics - Alumni Meet - 1 p.m.
Men's Basketball - Northwestern - 1:30 p.m.
Women's Hockey - Ohio State - 2 p.m.
Women's Gymnastics - Iowa State - 6:30 p.m.
Sunday
Foxjets Winter Classic Swim Meet - All Day
NFL Playoffs - Vikings vs. Seahawks - Noon
Women's Basketball - Penn State - 2 p.m.
Women's Hockey - Ohio State - 2 p.m.
Sunday Parking
Women's Basketball Season Parking
Fans with season parking passes for University Avenue Ramp will be able to park there.
Women's Hockey Season Parking
Fans with season parking passes in Lot 37 will be relocated to Lot C-58 for this game only.
Non-Season Parking for Gopher Events
Gopher Event Parking will be reserving a limited number spaces in the following lots at standard Gopher event rates beginning at 1 p.m.:
*Lot C-58
*University Avenue Ramp
*4th Street Ramp
*Lot 37
*Maroon Lot
*Washington Avenue Ramp
Any or all of these designated lots may fill at any time. It is recommended that fans buy event tickets ahead of time, have the tickets available to show parking attendants and arrive early. After 1:30 p.m., showing game tickets and/or informing the parking attendant you are attending Gopher women's basketball or hockey will allow entry at the standard rate at any event lot.

Light Rail
The light rail has campus stops behind TCF Bank Stadium (at University Avenue and 23rd Avenue Southeast) and at 551 Washington Avenue near Harvard Street. Please visit MetroTransit.org for schedules, maps and fare information for the light rail or bus system.
Oak Street Closure
Southeast Oak Street will be closed on Sunday from the morning until 5 p.m.
