Minnesota Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

Golden Gopher women's soccer has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with the Team Academic Award, announced Thursday by the organization.
The award is given to teams with a minimum GPA or 3.0 for the entire 2015-16 academic year. Minnesota's team GPA landed well above the mark with a 3.50.
No. 17 Minnesota hosts Iowa tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium. Tickets for the match are available at mygophersports.com; the game will also be streamed on BTN Plus.
