Gophers Double Tournament Win Total

Saturday's Results
Chapel Hill, N.C. - The Golden Gophers added to their win total Saturday at the Kitty Harrison Invite with six total victories.
Doubles
Minnesota collected three doubles match wins after winning four matches Friday. The Gophers played doubles versus Davidson and one extra match against Texas.
Freshman Cammy Frei and junior Caroline Ryba picked up an 8-6 victory over Samantha Armas and Gabrielle Centenari, their first doubles win of the weekend.
Caitlyn Merzbacher and Mehvish Safdar also picked up their first doubles win of the weekend with an 8-6 victory over Ally Sexton and Anna Catharine Feast.
Maja Vujic and Barbara Mancera fell in there match versus Ava Todd and Sarah Stein (8-6) while Annemarie Emme and Camila Vargas Gomez defeated Megan Scholvinck and Alexandra Abele (8-6).
Freshmen Karyna Bihel and Kalyssa Hall fell to the Texas's Daniella Roldan and Chelsea Crovetti 8-6.
Singles
The Maroon and Gold picked up three singles match victories over Charlotte and fell in an extra match do Davidson.
Safdar fell in a 6-4, 3-6, 1-0(2) match to Tai Martin while Vujic also fell to Alexandra Lee 6-1, 7-5.
Bihel picked up the Gophers first singles victory of the weekend when she defeated Pierina Imparato 6-4, 7-5.
Merzbacher added to the win column with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Macy Vonderschmidt and Hall defeated Megan Smith 6-3, 6-2. Frei fell in her match against Sexton 2-6, 6-2, 1-0(4).
