Gophers Top B1G in Final RPI, Rankings

Final RPI | Final NSCAA Ranking

The University of Minnesota women's soccer team wrapped the 2016 season ranked No. 15 in the National Soccer Coaches Associaiton of America (NSCAA) postseason poll and No. 20 in the final NCAA Division I Rating Percentage Index (RPI).

The ranking marks just the second time in program history Minnesota has finished in the top 20, and is the highest final RPI for the Gophers since 2008 (17). Minnesota also topped the Big Ten Conference in the rankings.

While the Gophers were upset in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, the team was able to win both the Big Ten regular season and tournament titles-a first in program history.
