Rachel Banham's 60-point performance caught the attention of her favorite basketball player, Kobe Bryant. The five-time NBA champion tweeted to Banham early Tuesday afternoon. The Gophers' "Maroon Mamba" enjoyed connecting with the Lakers' "Maroon Mamba."

The Gophers' Thursday night game will be Lakeville community night, featuring Banham on the game program and in a postgame autograph session with teammates. Minnesota will take on Nebraska at 7 p.m. at Williams Arena.
