Five Gophers Earn All-USCHO Honors

MINNEAPOLIS - Five Gophers have been named to the 2016 All-USCHO teams, USCHO.com announced today. Hannah Brandt, Dani Cameranesi, Lee Stecklein, and Amanda Leveille picked up All-USCHO Second Team honors while Sarah Potomak was named to the All-USCHO Rookie Team.
Potomak was named the USCHO Rookie of the Year, while Wisconsin's Ann-Renee Desbiens was the USCHO Player of the Year and Boston College's Katie Crowley was named the USCHO Coach of the Year.
Players representing 11 schools were named to the All-USCHO Women's D-I teams. National champion Minnesota led the way with five players on the list, followed by NCAA runner-up Boston College with four. Other schools represented included Wisconsin with three players; Clarkson, Northeastern, Princeton, and Quinnipiac with two each; and Bemidji State, Cornell, Rensselaer, and Robert Morris with one.
The All-USCHO teams are voted on by USCHO.com's women's editor and writers.
