MINNEAPOLIS - The Golden Gophers hosted the 2016 WCHA Final Faceoff at Ridder Arena last weekend. Minnesota and Wisconsin advanced to the league championship game with semifinal wins over North Dakota and Minnesota Duluth, respectively, and the Gophers finished as WCHA runners-up after a 1-0 loss to the Badgers in the title game.
