The annual Big Ten media days are in full swing and the Gophers took part in the festivities on Monday. Minnesota is represented at the yearly tradition by head coach Tracy Claeys and student athletes Mitch Leidner, Jack Lynn and Damarius Travis. Leidner was making his third and final appearance at media days, while Claeys, Lynn and Tavis were participating for the first time.

The quartet spent all day Monday doing television interviews with the Big Ten Network, CBS, Fox and ESPN and radio interviews with stations spanning from Minnesota to Michigan to Florida to Nebraska.

Dressed to impress, the Gophers also spent time talking with print and online media members and wrapped up the day with some live interviews on the Big Ten Network.

Minnesota concludes media days on Tuesday with a quick photo shoot for ESPN in the morning before a fan session and the annual Big Ten luncheon.

The Gophers begin fall camp on Friday, Aug. 5 and then start the season at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 1 against Oregon State.
