What are you most looking forward to during your senior season?
Playing soccer for the University of Minnesota has been such a great experience for me. I love playing with a group of women who have such great work ethic and motivation. I am really looking forward to getting the opportunity to compete against other teams in the country and showing them what Minnesota soccer is all about.
What does representing Minnesota mean to you?
Playing for a team that is the only Division I soccer program in the state of Minnesota-for both men and women-is a great honor. Representing Minnesota means always putting forth your best effort for not yourself, but for your teammates, and the program as a whole.
How have you developed as a student-athlete during your time as a Gopher?
I have developed many important qualities from my time as a student-athlete at Minnesota that are useful for not only sports, but for life in general. I have improved my time management skills, and I also feel that I have a better understanding of the value of teamwork.
What advice would you give to the incoming freshmen class?
Give your best effort on and off the field, and always have a good attitude!
What's the best piece of advice the coaching staff has given you during your Gopher career?
Learn from your mistakes and move on quickly.
How would you describe the team culture?
We have a very strong team culture. The girls on our team are positive, hardworking, and have high aspirations for Gopher soccer.
