Kick Time Set for Gophers - Hawkeyes

The University of Minnesota football team will play Iowa at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, the Big Ten conference announced today. The game will be broadcast on television by either ABC or ESPN2 and can be heard on KFAN.

The Gophers and Hawkeyes play annually for the coveted Floyd of Rosedale, which is a solid bronze pig that is 15.5 inches tall, 21 inches long and weighs 98.3 pounds. Minnesota is 62-45-2 all-time against Iowa and is 42-37-2 when Floyd has been on the line.

Iowa currently has possession of Floyd after posting a 40-35 home win against Minnesota last season. Minnesota last beat Iowa 51-14 in 2014.
