MINNEAPOLIS - The Golden Gopher women's hockey team is set to host its annual Skate with the Gophers event on Saturday, Jan. 21. The event will follow the Gophers' game against Ohio State at Ridder Arena. Puck drop is set for 2:07 p.m. CT.
The annual event gives fans have the opportunity to take the ice with the back-to-back defending national champion Gophers. Children in eighth grade and under are invited to skate with the team after the game.
Registration for Skate with the Gophers is required, and online registration is now open. Capacity is expected to be reached, so act quickly to secure your spot.
Check-in will occur during and immediately after the game on the Ridder Arena concourse. All questions on the day of the event should be directed to the check-in table. Participants are encouraged to leave their skates in their cars and retrieve them at the conclusion of the game.
