B1G Announces Media Week, Tournament Tickets

The Big Ten Conference made multiple announcements Tuesday in preparation for the 2017-18 women's basketball season. Big Ten Tournament tickets will go on sale this Saturday, Oct. 21. Big Ten Women's Basketball Week will begin Monday, Oct. 23 on the conference's social media channels.
All-session tickets for the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis will go on sale this Saturday at 9 a.m. CT. The cost for all-session tickets purchased before Jan. 31 is $55, with the price going up to $75 after that. General public tickets will be available at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse box office, Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 800-745-3000. Big Ten Women's Basketball Week will feature videos and other media content about all 14 Big Ten schools. The week will open with the announcement of the preseason poll and preseason awards on Monday, Oct. 23 via @B1GWBBall on Twitter.
The next three days, the conference will release videos on bigten.org and social media channels including Twitter (@B1GWBBall), Facebook (/Big Ten Conference), Instagram (@BigTen) and Snapchat (@BigTenConf). Minnesota head coach Marlene Stollings and senior Carlie Wagner will be featured in videos. Videos will begin posting at 11 a.m. CT each day and go in alphabetical order by team.
Tuesday, Oct. 24: coach video interviews
Wednesday, Oct. 25: student-athlete profiles
Thursday, Oct. 26: student-athlete video interviews
Coaches will participate in a media teleconference on Friday, Oct. 27. The Big Ten will wrap up media week on Monday, Oct. 30 with a season preview video.
BTN's Women's Basketball Season Preview show is tentatively scheduled to debut Nov. 6 at 2 p.m. CT. It will re-air several times during the week leading up to the first games of the year.
