Women's Hockey - #4
Last Week: Taylor Williamson and Caitlin Reilly each scored twice and Cara Piazza led Minnesota with three points as the No. 5 Golden Gopher women's hockey team sealed a series sweep with a 6-2 win over North Dakota in front of 2,733 fans at Ridder Arena Saturday afternoon.
This Week: Minnesota hosts Wisconsin in its regular-season finale series next weekend at Ridder Arena. The Gophers and Badgers face off at 3:07 p.m. CT both Saturday and Sunday.
Men's Gymnastics - #5
Last Week: The No. 5 University of Minnesota men's gymnastics program posted a season-high team score of 417.200 in its win over No. 11 Iowa (414.650) and loss to No. 1 Oklahoma (426.600) on Saturday night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
This Week: The 2017 Winter Cup Challenge will feature Golden Gophers Duran and Stephens, as well as Minnesota commits Shane Wiskus and Russell Johnson. The two day meet will take place in Las Vegas, Nev. on Feb. 16 and 18.
Men's Hockey - #5
Last Week: The No. 4/5 Gopher Hockey program scored six power-play goals -- a school modern era record -- to pick up a thrilling 6-5 win at No. 12/13 Ohio State on Friday night at Value City Arena.
This Week: The Maroon & Gold return to action this weekend with a Big Ten series at Penn State on Big Ten Network and 1500 ESPN.
Wrestling - #13
Last Week: Bonus points played the role of tiebreaker after No. 12 Minnesota and fourth-ranked Ohio State split their 10 matches on Senior Day at the Sports Pavilion on Sunday afternoon. Four bonus point victories for the Buckeyes outweighed the Gophers' pair, pushing the visitors to a 24-20 win.
This Week: Minnesota has one dual remaining for this season, Sunday in Ames against Iowa State.
Softball - #13
Last Week: The University of Minnesota Gophers won 10-2 in five innings over Maryland to complete the weekend sweep. Carlie Brandt picked up the win in her first collegiate appearance in the circle.
This Week: The Maroon and Gold will compete in the ACC/B1G Challenge down in Raleigh, N.C. next weekend.

Coming Up: The team is gearing up for the Big Ten Championships, which run Feb. 22-25.
