Gophers Finish Second Round at Hurricane Invite

CORAL GABLES, Fla. - After 36 holes of competition at the Hurricane Invitational, hosted by the University of Miami, the Minnesota women's golf team stands in 11th place as day two at the Biltmore Golf Club came to a conclusion.
Leading the way are junior Heather Ciskowski (75-73-148) and senior Emie Peronnin (74-74-148), among a 10-player tie for 22nd place at four-over-par. One shot behind is junior Sabrine Garrison (72-77-149), who is tied for 33rd. Sophomores Muyu Wu (75-82-157) and Niamh Ward (84-82-166) are tied for 72nd and 84th place, respectively.
The Gophers (296-306-602) finished the round with a team score of 26-over-par for the tournament. Louisville maintained the team lead at two-under-par, with three players atop the individual leaderboard at three-under-par.
Final round action at the Hurricane Invitational will begin Wednesday with an 8:00 a.m. ET shotgun start.
