Minneapolis, Minn. - The University of Minnesota will travel to Fargo, N.D. Tuesday to finish off the season series with North Dakota State.
The Gophers are currently on a 10-game winning streak after their weekend series versus Rutgers was cancelled. The two teams played last Tuesday at Siebert Field that saw Minnesota come out on top 7-1.
Minnesota has a .282 team batting average with Luke Pettersen leading the charge with a .376 average (35-93). Toby Hanson leads the team with 21 RBIs while Micah Coffey closely follows him with 20.
Jordan Smith has posted a .316 batting average with a team leading four home runs, 17 RBIs, 13 extra base hits and he is 3-3 in stolen bases. Alex Boxwell is 7-9 in stolen bases, another team high.
Lucas Gilbreath leads all starting pitchers with a 2.78 ERA while posting a 3-0 record and 42 strike outs (another team high). Saturday starter Brett Schulze is 3-2 with a 4.25 ERA and 23 strike outs while Toby Anderson leads the team with four wins with a 6.93 ERA and 14 strike outs.
Senior Brian Glowicki leads the bullpen with 11 saves along with posting a 1-0 record, a 0.52 ERA and 19 strike outs in 14 appearances. Tim Shannon has also made 14 appearances out of the bullpen. The senior submariner has a 2.08 ERA with 11 strike outs. Nick Lackney is 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA and 11 strike outs in 10 appearances.
The Minnesota defense boasts a .981 fielding percentage, turning 25 double plays and only committing 20 errors. Matt Stemper has thrown out six out of 11 attempted base stealers.

The Bison are 14-17 overall after defeating Minot State and taking two of a three-game series versus South Dakota State.
NDSU has a .227 team batting average with Mason Pierzchalski leading the team with a .305 average. Logan Busch leads the team with 21 RBIs and Ben Petersen leads with six home runs. As a team they are 20-25 in stolen bases with Drew Fearing 5-5.
Jordan Harms leads all starting pitchers with a 3.78 ERA while Luke Lind leads the team with 47 strike outs. Kevin Folman has five saves in 12 appearances out of the bullpen along with a 2-0 record, 2.35 ERA and 10 strike outs.
