Gophers Close out Spring Season With a Win

The University of Minnesota volleyball program closed out the spring season with a come-from-behind win over Iowa State, Saturday, April 22, 2017. Iowa State won the first two sets, 25-22, 25-20, before the Gophers won the next three sets, 25-20, 25-22 and 15-9.
Along with the scrimmage, the day was filled with various activities. The Gophers invited families from HopeKids to a volleyball clinic Saturday morning. During the scrimmage, the Gophers invited attendees a behind-the-scenes look as they opened their lockerrooms, team room and coaches' room for tours. Following the five-setter, Minnesota honored its 2016 Final Four season with a banner ceremony, parting words from the six Gopher seniors and a highlight video. The day closed with an autograph session.
