SAINT PAUL, Minn. (GopherSports.com) - The University of Minnesota men's track & field program picked up a trio of top-10 performances in the discus over the weekend at Hamline's Meet of the UnSaintly.

Behind a personal record of 50.72 meters (166-05 ft.), Jonathan Tharaldsen picked up the event win on Friday night at Klas Field. Bryan Bjerk was the runner-up for Minnesota at 49.88 meters (163-08 ft.) while John Marita came in 10th for the Maroon & Gold at 40.80 meters (133-10 ft.).
