The team voted Caroline Ryba and Tina Kreinis as the team's most valuable players. Ryba posted a 21-12 overall record this year and was 15-7 in dual matches while defeating one nationally ranked opponent. She finished the season on a six-match win streak and was 8-2 en route to being named to the All-Big Ten Team. In the fall, Ryba played into the round of 16 at the ITA Central Region Championships.
Kreinis led the squad with a 22-14 record. She was 15-8 in dual matches and 7-3 in conference play. The freshman was 6-4 in her final ten matches and was on a two-match winning streak. Kreinis also picked two singles victories at the ITA Central Region Championships.
Senior captain Maja Vujic brought in two awards, Most Improved and the Coaches Award. As the only senior on the team, Vujic had a 15-14 overall record and was 10-8 in the Big Ten. She clinched the match winner versus Indiana April 16 on senior day with a 7-6 (3), 6-1 victory over Caitlin Bernard in the No. 3 spot.
