Wolitarsky Winnipeg Bound

Former University of Minnesota receiver Drew Wolitarsky was selected by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL supplemental draft in exchange for one of Winnipeg's third round selections in the 2018 CFL draft.

Wolitarsky made 130 career catches (tied for eighth all-time in program history) in four years at Minnesota for 1,749 yards (ninth in program history). He also caught nine career touchdowns, which included five as a senior. He ended his career by making a catch in 26 straight games (9/3/15 - 12/27/16), which is the sixth longest streak is school history.

In 2016, he played in all 13 games and set career highs in catches (66), yards (860) and touchdowns (5). His 66 catches rank tied for second all-time by a senior with Ernie Wheelwright (2007) and his 860 yards place him fifth among seniors in program history.

Wolitarsky was also named All-Big Ten Third Team by the media and was also Academic All-Big Ten.
