Gopher Football Fishing Classic A Success

The Goal Line Club held the second annual Gopher Fishing Classic last weekend at the Bug-Bee Hive Resort, Lodge & Event Center on Lake Koronis in Paynesville.

Friday began with a meet-and-greet tailgate party, followed by dinner and a program featuring former Gopher football players and musical entertainment.

Following breakfast on Saturday morning, the anglers took to the water from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day concluded with an awards ceremony.
