The defending Big Ten champion Minnesota Golden Gopher soccer team will play two games on the Big Ten Network this season, announced by the Network and conference office today. Minnesota will also play on the Pac-12 Network this Friday against Washington State.

This season the Gophers will play their first game on the Big Ten Network on Thursday Sept. 21 at home against the Michigan Wolverines. Last season the Maroon and Gold played on the Big Ten Network and tied in a double overtime match that ended in a 0-0 stalemate. That game will begin at 6:00 p.m. (CT).
Northwestern will then play host to Minnesota on the Big Ten Network on Oct. 12. Similar to Michigan, the Wildcats battled the Gophers to a 0-0 double overtime draw.

Last season Minnesota played in three Big Ten Network games, finishing with a record of 1-0-2. In total the Gophers played in seven televised games (two on ESPN3), and finished with a 5-0-2 record.
Any Big Ten matches that are not on BTN will be streamed live through BTN Plus. A full streaming schedule will be released at a later date.
