MINNEAPOLIS - The 2017-18 season marks the 21st season of Gopher women's hockey. In preparation for Minnesota's season-opening series, look back on the first 20 seasons of the program.
GopherSports.com will recap the Twitter countdown in five-year increments until the 2017-18 season begins against Merrimack College at Ridder Arena on Friday, Sept. 29.
