Gopher Football - Love Your Melon Promotion
MINNEAPOLIS -- Gopher Athletics has teamed up with Love Your Melon for special single-game ticket packages at select football, men's and women's basketball, and men's and women's hockey games during the 2017-18 season.
Each package will contain one (1) ticket to the event and one (1) voucher for a University of Minnesota-branded Love Your Melon beanie. This Minnesota themed beanie is made out of one hundred percent cotton thick knit yarn in St. Paul, Minn.
The featured events are the Gophers' Homecoming football game against Illinois on Saturday, Oct. 21, women's hockey against St. Cloud State on Saturday, Nov. 18, men's hockey against Army on Saturday, Dec. 30, men's basketball's Coaches vs. Cancer game against Northwestern on Tuesday, Jan. 23, and women's basketball against Penn State on Sunday, Feb. 11.
Each ticket sold through this special ticket package supports Love Your Melon's program to give a hat to every child battling cancer in America. Fifty percent (50%) of profit from the sale of all Love Your Melon products is given to Love Your Melon's nonprofit partners. Love Your Melon's nonprofit partners work in the field of pediatric oncology, fund cancer research initiatives and provide immediate support for families of children battling cancer.
Fans can redeem their voucher for their Golden Gopher Love Your Melon beanie at the arena on the date of each event. Beanies are only redeemable at the game and your voucher must be supplied. Limit one (1) hat per voucher.
Love Your Melon ticket packages for football are available now, and packages for the remaining four sports will be announced soon. Pricing for the ticket packages begins at $25 for women's hockey.
