Gophers Complete Tennessee Diving Invite

TALLAHASSE, Fla. - Minnesota diving closed out the final day of the Tennessee Diving Invite with four top eight finishes on the platform.

Sophomore Kirsten Hayden notched the Gophers highest finish as she placed second with 254.30 points in the five dive event. On the men's side Alan LeBlang finished the six dive event in fifth place with 354.20 points. In his first platform event, Nick Yang placed seventh (322.90) while Jeremy Moser placed eighth with a new personal record score of 313.85.

Also competing for the women were Morgan Justus (11th, 217.40) and Bet Etterman (17th, 198.45). For the men, Maxim Royzen placed 15th in his second platform event with a score of 274.10.

The Maroon and Gold diving squad returns to boards on Saturday, Jan. 13 when Minnesota and Denver clash in a non-conference dual meet.
