Payton Jordahl will play in his 50th career game on Saturday
On Saturday, long snapper Payton Jordahl will become just the second Gopher to start 50 career games (even if specialists are not officially credited with starts).
Jordahl will join former U quarterback Adam Weber as the second Gopher to start 50 career games. He started 13 games in 2015 and 2016, 12 games in 2017 and will start 12 in 2018.
The Perham, Minn., native has snapped 488 times in his career (267 punt, 140 PATs and 81 FGs). He has also made 10 tackles and recovered one fumble.
