Hockey Mini-Plan Ticket Packages Now Available

Mini-plan ticket packages for the 2018-19 Gopher men's and women's hockey seasons are on sale beginning Tuesday, July 17
MINNEAPOLIS -- The 2018-19 University of Minnesota men's and women's hockey seasons are fast approaching. Mini-plan ticket packages for both programs will be on sale to Gopher Score members beginning Tuesday, July 17 with the general public on-sale date set for the week of Monday, July 23.
Men's hockey mini-plan ticket packages allow fans to select three to 10 games with savings of up to 33% off the full single-game ticket price. Gopher Score members have access to purchase men's hockey mini-plan ticket packages starting Tuesday, July 17; the mini-plan packages go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, July 25.
For women's hockey, mini-plan ticket packages include the choice of three to eight games with savings of up to 37% off the full single-game ticket price. Mini-plan ticket package options do not include the inaugural Minnesota Cup (Jan. 5-6). Gopher Score members also have access to purchase women's hockey mini-plan ticket packages starting Tuesday, July 17; mini-plan packages go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 23.
Group single-game tickets for all games are on sale for women's hockey on Monday, July 23 and men's hockey on Wednesday, July 25 as well. Single-game tickets for both programs are slated to go on sale in August.
The 98th season of Gopher men's hockey will see the Maroon & Gold take the ice for the first time under new head coach Bob Motzko, who returns to the University of Minnesota after helping the program claim back-to-back national championships in 2002 and 2003 as an assistant coach. Minnesota opens the season against the defending national champions in Minnesota Duluth with a home-and-home series (Oct. 6-7). Along with the sixth year of Big Ten Conference play, the 2018-19 season includes an 11-game non-conference schedule, highlighted by the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game against North Dakota at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 27.
The Gopher women's hockey team opens its 2nd season with an exhibition game against the University of British Columbia followed by a 34-game regular-season campaign as the team is in search of an NCAA Women's Frozen Four berth and the program's eighth national title. Minnesota's non-conference slate features series with Mercyhurst, Robert Morris, and Yale along with a trip to Burlington, Vt., for the Windjammer Classic with St. Lawrence, Syracuse, and host Vermont.
