Open Scrimmage Set for Aug. 18

Minnesota Volleyball fans, get to know your 2018 Golden Gophers as the team hosts an open intrasquad scrimmage, Saturday Aug. 18, at Maturi Pavilion.
Doors to the Pavilion open at 2 p.m., with warm ups beginning at 2:30. The open scrimmage is set to approximately begin at 3 p.m. The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
The Golden Gophers return 12 letterwinners from last year's Sweet 16 team. Get a chance to also see some of the Gopher newcomers in Claire Sheehan, CC McGraw, Bayley McMenimen, Paulina Swider, Adanna Rollins and Rebecca Rendahl.
Minnesota opens the season Aug. 24-25 at the Target Center as it hosts the Big Ten/ACC Challenge. Minnesota opens the 2018 season against Florida State, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m., and follows on Aug. 25 against North Carolina, also at 7 p.m. Tickets are now on sale for the tournament HERE.
