Gophers to Host Pre-Game Tailgate Saturday at Maturi Pavilion

Before the Minnesota men's basketball team takes the court against Penn State on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., fans are invited to spend time together at a pre-game tailgate inside Maturi Pavilion.
The event, which is free with game ticket, begins at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a cash bar, inflatable activities, prize giveaways and more fun for all ages. Among the featured activities are photo opportunities with Paul Bunyan's Axe, face painting, yard games, poster making and much more.
From 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., tickets will be scanned at the Daily Entrance to Maturi Pavilion (located on the University Ave. side). After doors to Williams Arena open at 6:30, fans with tickets will be able to use the pass-through hallway in the southwest corner of Williams Arena to join the fun at the tailgate.
Additional details and activities at Saturday's events will be announced later in the week.
