Gophers in the Polls

The University of Minnesota has eight teams ranked in their respective polls this week.
Volleyball
Gopher volleyball has been ranked in the top-10 of the AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll all season. This week, they moved up one spot to the six-spot for the second time this season.
Football
Gopher football moved up to No. 13 in the AP Top-25 Poll and No. 13 in the Coaches Poll. Minnesota's No. 13 ranking in the AP Poll is the highest it has been since it was No. 12 on Dec. 5, 1999. The Gophers also reached No. 13 on Oct., 3, 2004.
Women's Swim and Dive
The Women's swim and dive team currently sits at No. 22 in the CSCAA Coaches Poll after being ranked No. 18 in the preseason poll.
Men's Swim and Dive
The Men's swim and dive team broke into the top-25 for the first time this season, coming in at No. 25 in the CSCAA Coaches Poll.
Women's Hockey
Gopher Women's hockey remains at No. 2 in the latest USCHO Poll. They have consistently been ranked No. 2 throughout the last six weeks.
Women's Cross Country
The Women's Cross Country team remains at No. 25 in the USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll this week. They have been ranked in the top-30 all season long. Their highest ranking came on Oct. 8 when they jumped 11 spots to No. 18.
Gopher wrestling
Gopher wrestling has made a few minor shifts in the most recent polls. They come in at No. 9 for InterMat, No. 11 for FloWrestling and No. 7 for TrackWrestling.
Women's Basketball
With just over one week until the season starts, Women's basketball checked in at No. 17 in the ESPNW Preseason Top-25 poll. The team also came in at No. 23 in the AP Preseason Poll.
