Big Ten Unveils Basketball Matchups for 2019-20 Season

ROSEMONT, Ill. - The Big Ten Conference has announced the slate of opponents for the Minnesota men's and women's basketball teams for the upcoming 2019-20 season, identifying which of the 13 other member schools the Gophers will face at home or on the road.
In men's basketball, the 20-game conference schedule will consist of home-and-away series with Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin. The Gophers will welcome Maryland, Michigan and Nebraska to Williams Arena in their lone meetings, while traveling to Illinois, Purdue and Rutgers during the season.
Gopher women's basketball will face conference foes 18 times, with home-and-away dates scheduled with Indiana, Iowa, Nebraska, Ohio State and Wisconsin. Minnesota will host Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern and Rutgers at the Barn, while visiting Illinois, Michigan State, Penn State and Purdue.
The Big Ten seasons will both wrap up in Indianapolis, with the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament scheduled for March 4-8, 2020 and the Men's Basketball Tournament one week later, March 11-15. Both tournaments will be played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
