Gopher track & field and cross country alumni and donors are invited to a celebration on Saturday, Sept. 14.
MINNEAPOLIS – The Golden Gopher track & field and cross country program is hosting an alumni tailgate and open house celebration prior to the Gopher football game against Georgia Southern on Saturday, Sept. 14.
Gopher track & field and cross country alumni and donors are invited to an open house celebration at 11 a.m. at the women's team's Brave Like Gabe locker room, which opened in spring 2019, with a pre-game tailgate at the University of Minnesota Track and Field Stadium to follow. Gopher football hosts Georgia Southern at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon.
11:00 a.m. - Brave Like Gabe locker room open house
11:15 a.m. - Program featuring remarks from Coach Matt Bingle, Athletic Director Mark Coyle, Gary Wilson, and Christie Heikes
11:30 a.m. - Tailgate at the Minnesota Track and Field Stadium
1:00 p.m. - Head to TCF Bank Stadium for 2:30 p.m. kickoff
2:30 p.m. - Kickoff
Alumni and donors are encouraged to save the date and RSVP now.
