Three Gophers Earn Preseason Big Ten Honors

Three Gophers, Nikki Albrecht, Celina Nummerdor, and Athena Kuehn, earned preseason honors, the Big Ten announced on Monday.
All three are upperclassmen who also earned Academic All-Big Ten honors last season.
In addition, the conference released the first edition of the 2019 Big Ten Coaches rankings where Minnesota found itself ranked sixth heading into the season.
Kuehn and Albrecht both started all 23 games for the Gophers last season while Nummerdor only missed one game throughout the campaign.
