University of Minnesota senior setter Kylie Miller (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) has been named the Big Ten's Setter of the Week, announced today by the conference office. It marks the first conference weekly award of her collegiate career.

Miller had 79 assists and averaged 13.17 assists per set this past week in a win and a loss to No. 7 Florida and No. 3 Texas. She also had three aces and 14 digs. Against the Longhorns last Wednesday, Miller aided the Gophers to a .311 hitting percentage and had two aces. In the win over Florida Saturday, Miller had 36 assists, an ace and a block with seven digs. It was her first home match as a Golden Gopher. Miller transferred to Minnesota in January 2019 after she spent three years with UCLA.

Minnesota will face its third and fourth consecutive top 10 opponent this week when it travels to University Park, Pa., to compete in the Big Ten/Pac 12 Challenge, hosted by Penn State. The Golden Gophers and Penn State will take on No. 10 Oregon and No. 1 Stanford Friday and Saturday night. Both matches are streamed on BTN +.
