Katie Duong Invited to Third U20 Camp

Minnesota freshman midfielder Katie Duong has been invited to her third Under-20 Women's National Team camp ahead of the 2020 CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship (Feb. 15-March 1) in the Dominican Republic.
New head coach Laura Harvey selected Duong as one of 25 players invited to the camp in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. The Oregon native was one of five Big Ten players that Harvey chose and the new coach will then choose 20 players to represent the country at the official competition.
Duong was previously selected to camps in August and December in California and Florida respectively. At the 2019 Nike International Friendlies she got to rock the captain's arm band and in year's past she has also been invited to under-14 and 15 camps.
This past season Duong was started 15 games and led the team in shots as she finished the year with a goal and an assist for three points.
