Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren Visits Minnesota

Commissioner Warren spent Tuesday at Minnesota meeting with student-athletes, coaches and campus leaders
Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren visited the University of Minnesota earlier this week.
Warren, who is visiting all 14 Big Ten campuses during his first year as commissioner, spent the majority of his day visiting with student-athletes and coaches. He started his day by working out with members of the women's golf team and then spent time at men's basketball and volleyball practices before having lunch with a large contingent of Gopher student athletes.
He toured Minnesota's competition venues and also spent time in the world-class Athletes Village, which directly benefits all Gopher student athletes.
Warren also met with President Joan Gabel and her staff, hosted a town hall with athletics department staff and held a press conference for local media during his visit. He spoke about the importance of mental health and wellness, voter registration and financial literacy.
