Minnesota ranked second in the Big Ten with six offensive selections
Pick Six Previews' Season Preview is out and the Gophers are well represented in the publications Preseason All-Big Ten teams.
Prolific receiver Rashod Bateman is once again the headliner as the outlet named him First Team All-Big Ten and First Team All-American. Four Gophers were slotted on the Second Team in quarterback Tanner Morgan, running back Mohamed Ibrahim and offensive linemen Blaise Andries and Daniel Faalele. Fellow offensive lineman Sam Schlueter was named Third Team.
Minnesota ranked second in the Big Ten with six offensive selections. The Gophers are 15-4 in their last 19 games and return nine starters on offense this year after going 11-2 last season. A year ago, Minnesota totaled 5,616 yards (third most in school history), 3,293 passing yards (school record), 294 first downs (second most in school history), 443 points (second most in school history) and a scoring average of 34.1 points per game (three most in school history).
