Bateman, St-Juste Invited to Participate in NFL Combine

Two Gophers asked to participate in premier event before NFL Draft

Former University of Minnesota standouts Rashod Bateman and Benjamin St-Juste have been invited to participate in the NFL Combine. 

Bateman was at Minnesota for three seasons and was one of the best to ever wear the Maroon and Gold. 

He caught at least one pass in all 31 games (fifth in school history) he played in and made 147 receptions (sixth in school history) for 2,395 yards (sixth in school history). His 19 receiving touchdowns ranks fifth in school history and his 10 100-yard receiving games ranks fourth in school history. 

Bateman set school freshman and sophomore receiving records and was named the Big Ten Receiver of the Year in 2019. 

St-Juste spent two seasons at Minnesota after transferring as a grad student from Michigan. He played in 18 games for the Gophers and totaled 59 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and 13 pass breakups. 

The 2020 Academic All-Big Ten standout played in five games for the Maroon and Gold. He made 14 tackles and broke up three passes. 

He was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2019 after making 45 tackles (36 solo) and tying for the team lead with 10 pass breakups.
