Gophers Announce Outdoor Schedule

Minnesota's 2021 outdoor track & field season includes 10 meets beginning this weekend.
MINNEAPOLIS -- The University of Minnesota men's and women's track & field program has announced its 2020-21 outdoor track & field competition schedule. The outdoor slate is comprised of 10 meets, highlighted by the Minnesota Invitational on April 30 and May 1 at the University of Minnesota Track & Field Stadium.
The Gophers' outdoor track & field schedule is made up of seven regular season meets over six weeks starting this Friday, March 26 and concluding Saturday, May 1. Minnesota travels to Bloomington, Ind., for three competitions against Big Ten foes hosted by Indiana along with Big Ten invitationals held in Jacksonville, Fla. (April 2-3) and Prairie View, Texas (April 16-17). The regular season concludes with the two-day Minnesota Invitational (April 30-May 1), the first home outdoor competition for the Gophers since the Minnesota Men's Twilight Meet on May 1, 2019.
The 2021 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held in Champaign, Ill., May 14-16 with the NCAA West Preliminary scheduled for May 27-29 in College Station, Texas. The 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships return to Eugene, Ore., June 9-12.
Meet times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date, and all schedules are subject to change.
